1. Scope

This Cookie Policy applies when you visit or interact with polykye.com and related online services operated by Canurta Naturals USA Inc., doing business as PolyKye (collectively, “PolyKye,” “we,” “us” or “our”). It should be read with the PolyKye Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, disclose and retain personal information and describes available privacy rights.

Our online store is hosted on Shopify. Shopify and other providers may place or access technologies through the store, checkout, customer accounts, applications, advertising integrations and other features. The technologies in use can change when we update Shopify settings, install or remove applications, or change service providers.

2. What these technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored by a browser on a computer, phone or other device. They allow a website to recognize a browser or device during a session or on a later visit. Cookies may be set directly by PolyKye or Shopify, or by another provider whose service appears on our site.

We may also use pixels, tags, local storage, software development kits, server logs and similar technologies. These tools can perform functions similar to cookies, including recording a visit or interaction, remembering preferences, measuring performance, supporting security and helping deliver or measure advertising. In this Policy, “cookies” includes these related technologies unless the context requires otherwise.

Session cookies generally expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until their stated expiration or until you remove them. Duration depends on the cookie, its purpose, the provider and your settings.

3. Categories of cookies we use

The categories below describe how cookies may be used on the Services. A particular cookie may support more than one function. The cookie-preferences tool available on the site provides the most current controls for non-essential categories where offered.

4. Information collected through cookies

Depending on the technology and your interaction with the Services, cookies may collect or generate:

  • Internet Protocol address, browser, operating system, device type, device or cookie identifiers, language and approximate location derived from IP address.

  • Pages viewed, links selected, searches, referral pages, time and date of activity, cart and checkout events, purchases, campaign interactions and other use of the Services.

  • Account, session, authentication, security and consent-status information.

  • Inferences about interests or preferences used to personalize content or advertising, where permitted and enabled.

Cookie information may be linked with account, transaction or other information as described in the PolyKye Privacy Policy. We use and disclose it to operate and secure the Services, remember choices, perform analytics, improve the customer experience, and deliver or measure marketing and advertising subject to applicable law and your choices.

5. Shopify and third-party technologies

Shopify uses cookies and pixels to provide the store platform and related services, which may include checkout, payments, Shop Pay, customer accounts, security, fraud prevention, analytics, personalization and advertising features. When Shopify Network Intelligence or another Enhanced Service is enabled, Shopify may use eligible information from interactions with our store together with information from Shopify and other merchants to provide enhanced fraud, performance, personalization or advertising services.

For more information, review the Shopify Cookie Policy and the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.

Applications and integrations used by the store may also place cookies, including tools that support subscriptions, reviews, customer service, analytics, email or text-message marketing, social media and advertising. Third parties determine some of their own processing and retention practices. Their privacy and cookie notices apply to their services.

A list of individual cookies can change as providers update their technology. The absence of a cookie name from this Policy does not mean it is not in use. We periodically review our cookie banner and preference tool to keep them aligned with the Shopify configuration and installed applications.

6. Your cookie and advertising choices

You can manage cookies in several ways:

  • Cookie preferences. Use the Cookie Preferences link in the site footer or the controls in the cookie banner to accept, reject or change choices for non-essential categories where available.

  • Privacy Choices. Use the Privacy Choices link in the site footer to opt out of processing that applicable law defines as sale, sharing or targeted advertising.

  • Browser or device controls. Most browsers allow you to delete or block cookies. Mobile devices and platforms may provide controls for advertising identifiers or tracking permissions.

  • Recognized opt-out signals. Where required by law, we treat a recognized signal such as Global Privacy Control as a request to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising for the browser and device sending the signal.

  • Provider controls. Some advertising, analytics or social-media providers offer their own settings and opt-out tools. Choices made through those services may apply only to that provider.

Choices are generally browser- and device-specific. You may need to repeat them after clearing cookies, changing browsers or using another device. Blocking essential cookies can prevent checkout, account, cart, security or preference functions from working. Disabling advertising cookies does not necessarily reduce the number of ads you see; the ads may be less personalized.

Some browsers transmit a Do Not Track signal. Because there is not a uniform industry standard for responding to that signal, the Services may not respond to it. This does not affect our treatment of legally recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control where required.

7. Consent and regional settings

Cookie controls may differ by location because legal requirements vary. In regions where consent is required, we do not activate non-essential cookies until the required consent is obtained. You may withdraw consent through Cookie Preferences. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before the change.

If we use a third-party consent-management tool, we configure it to integrate with Shopify’s Customer Privacy API or otherwise communicate the applicable consent status to Shopify pixels, applications and manually installed technologies.

8. PolyKye Access Program

We do not use Access Program supporting eligibility documents for targeted advertising and do not sell them. We do not permit advertising or analytics tools to capture eligibility categories, document contents, form-field contents or uploaded-file details. Essential security, submission and operational logs may be used to protect and administer the application process.

The PolyKye Access Program Privacy Notice provides more information about Program information, including the ordinary deletion of supporting eligibility documents within 30 days after a final application decision. Applicants should upload documents only through the designated secure application form.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when technologies, providers, Services, legal requirements or our practices change. The revised Policy will identify its effective date. We will provide additional notice or request consent when required by law.

10. Contact us

For questions about this Cookie Policy or our privacy practices, use the Contact Us or Privacy Request link on polykye.com. Do not send payment credentials, Access Program documents, medical information or other sensitive records through ordinary contact channels.
